RECORD JUMP IN GAS PUMP PRICE BUMP. In Los Angeles the price of gas is $2.27, $2.37, $2.47. The national price for gasoline reached a record high! It has been calculated if everyone in the US did not purchase a drop of gas for one day, the Oil Companies would choke on their stockpiles! May 19th has been declared "A Gas Strike Day". We can make a difference. Spread the word and make May 19th a Day that the citizens of the United States say ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

I sat on a panel with Clint Eastwood when he was Mayor of Carmel and we became friends. He has always been one of my favorite actors and since I've known him personally, I have even greater respect for him as a human being. A developer wanted to tear down a beautiful, old, once-dairy farm to build on the land and no one in Carmel could come up with the money to keep him from doing so. Clint stepped up to the table and put a personal check down to keep the integrity of the farm while renovating it into a romantic bed and breakfast hideaway. Clint asked me if I thought he should have electrical lights or have gas lanterns - I suggested he stay with the lanterns - and he invited me to visit. Clint is set to direct, produce, and star in MILLION DOLLAR BABY opposite Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. The Film which starts shooting in June is a tragic love story between a woman in her early 30's who's determined to begin a boxing career and a fighter turned trainer.

Celebrity Star Lawyer and dear friend, Gloria Allred (far right), with me and my fellow dear Austrian friend and Gourmet Guru, Wolfgang Puck with designer ex-wife Barbara Lazaroff , reported that Amber Frey has a baby boy! The woman whose affair with Scott Peterson is at the center of the murder case against him, has given birth to a son, her lawyer Gloria Allred said. Amber Frey and David Markovich are the parents of Justin Dean, born in Fresno, California.

NO MORE DOH?!?: That may be the fate for the voice actors of The Simpsons and for fans of the long-running animated sitcom if the most recent contract dispute between the show's actors and Simpsons network Fox continues to simmer. Six actors who provide the voices for dozens of Simpsons characters--Hank Azaria (Moe, Apu and Comic Book Guy), Nancy Cartwright (Bart and Nelson), Dan Castellaneta (Homer and Krusty), Julie Kavner (Marge), Harry Shearer (Mr. Burns and Smithers) and Yeardley Smith (Lisa)--are asking the network for more d'oh, er, dough. Currently, the stars make $125,000 per episode.
I hope the Network can work things out because they just had a re-run of the episode where Homer was lying in bed with his hands crossed behind his head and asked what he was thinking of; He replied, “I’m thinking of Sybil Danning.” Looks like I have a fan there! I would love to come back in another episode! It’s pretty cool when the writers of the Simpson’s think of me!

Webmaster's Note: Apparently Ms. Danning didn't see the episode where she DID come back when Moe the tavern owner also expressed his lust for her. No doubt he is one guy that would be thrilled to have her walk into his joint anytime!

Dear friend Arnold and Governor of California has just signed a deal with the parent company of the National Enquirer, that makes him Editorial Director of the magazine "Muscle & Fittness"! Does he have his hands full - yes, can he handle this also, - he sure can!

Hef invited me again as every year to his Birthday Party! Normally, I would'nt miss it for the world. Unfortunately, you now know before I can even tell him that this year, due to a previous engagement, I cannot be there, although in "spirit", I will be. Ever since the 10 page Celebrity Layout and cover on Playboy, Hef has invited me to every Birthday, Mardi Gras, Summer, Haloween and New Years Party he has. He is a very loving, loyal friend! Cheers Hef - and please stick around for the next 50 years!!

I was surprised when I was asked again - just last year, to contribute to another book by Bill Adler, tentatively titled "If I Knew Then What I Know Now": advice to College Graduates. From Well-Known Individuals From All Walks of Life. Bill Adler is also the author of four New York Times' best sellers. Introduction to the book will be written by Charles Osgood, anchor on CBS who was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2000 and has received the highest accolades in broadcast journalism, including three Emmy Awards. I am honored to be asked to give advice to college graduates. Children are the future! Stay in touch for a release date!

CLINTON PREORDERS ARE HOT SAYS MEDIA EXPERT! President Bill Clinton's autobiography, "My Life", isn't due out for two months, but preorders already have him rivaling Harry Potter, according to media expert and author Michael Levine. Levine said yesterday that the Clinton memoir has reached the No. 1 slot on the bestseller list on its Web site based purely on preorders - the first time a non-fiction book has landed in the top spot 60 days before publication. J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" and the "Order of the Phoenix" were the only other books to reach No. 1, 60 days before it hit the shelves.
